The problem
A mature wasp nest can hold several thousand insects by August, and the moment it is disturbed — by a hedge trimmer, a roofer or a child near a shed — the colony defends it. That is why nest removal is the one job we treat as an emergency, day or night.
Nests turn up in the same places year after year: roof voids reached through a gap in the soffit, air bricks, chimney breasts, garden sheds, compost heaps and the cavity behind a fascia board. Hornets prefer hollow trees and outbuildings and are far less aggressive, but the treatment is the same.
Do not block the entry hole. A sealed colony chews a new way out, very often into the room below. Leave it alone, keep windows shut on that side and call us.
A steady stream of wasps in and out of one point in the roof, a soffit, an air brick or a shed corner, usually from June onwards.

Our method
We locate the actual entry point, which is often several metres from where you see the wasps.
The nest is treated at the entrance in full protective kit, so returning workers carry the treatment inside.
Activity drops within hours and the colony is dead within a day.
Where the nest is reachable we remove it, and we advise on proofing so next season's queen picks somewhere else.
Trained technicians, no call-out charge, fixed price agreed before we treat. Call, WhatsApp or send the form — we answer 24/7.
Coverage
We cover all 55 towns below and the villages around them. Open your town for local detail, common callouts and the postcodes we work in.
Identify it now
Describe what you've seen, heard or been bitten by. We'll tell you the most likely pest, how urgent it is, the treatment it needs and what to do before a technician arrives.
Your answer will appear here — likely pest, how urgent it is, the treatment needed and what to do first.
Activity usually falls away within a couple of hours and the nest is finished within 24. You may see a few stragglers returning for a day or two — they carry the treatment in with them.
We do not destroy honey bee colonies. If it turns out to be bees we tell you and point you to a local swarm collector. Bumblebees are harmless and die off naturally in autumn.
Shop aerosols rarely reach the nest itself, and stirring up a colony in a loft is how people end up with dozens of stings. If the nest is above head height or inside the structure, it is not a DIY job.
